Make & share

You're the programmer now.

Remember when a channel could feel like it was made for you? Make that channel. Put the shows and movies you love in the order you want, from any services you have, and it airs around the clock.

Program anything

A Saturday-morning cartoon block. Every Cheers episode with the best of 90s sitcoms. A Nicolas Cage film festival. Mix shows from Hulu, Paramount+ and Netflix on one channel.

Share it with a friend

Export a channel and send it. Your friend imports their own copy that runs on their own schedule, using their own subscriptions.

Post it for everyone

Put your best channels in the Community for anyone to browse and copy. Build a showcase of your lineups and share one link to all of them.

How it works

Three steps to your first channel

Step 1

Pick your services

Select the subscriptions you have in My services. Only titles you can actually watch get airtime. Add a service later and its titles come back to the schedule on their own.

Step 2

Build a channel

Search for shows and movies, paste a link from a streaming site, or create a channel from a genre. Shows expand into their episodes in order. Drag titles to set the lineup.

Step 3

Press Watch now

OurTV opens the matched episode on your service. Where supported, it skips ahead to the guide position. Otherwise, it shows the minute to skip to yourself. Sign in on your own device if the service asks.

Features

Everything in the app

A live program guide

See what's on now, up next and after that across all your channels. Schedules repeat around the clock, so a channel is always mid-show, the way cable worked.

Join at the guide position

When you start a program that's already running, OurTV seeks to the right minute for you. Services that can't seek automatically open at the start and tell you where to skip to.

The right episode

OurTV matches each guide episode to the service's own catalog by season, title and its neighbors in the series, even when a service numbers seasons differently. When a match isn't certain it says so instead of guessing.

Discover

Browse the catalogs of the services you selected, play a title directly or add it to a channel. Automatic service channels can build a whole channel from one service's catalog.

Share channels

Export a channel as a file and send it to a friend. Importing adds a copy with its own schedule. Your account settings and logins are never part of the file.

Community and showcases

Post channels you've built, browse other people's lineups and copy the ones you like into your library.

Your library on every device

Sign in to an OurTV account to back up your channels and preferences and sync them between your PC and phone. Streaming logins remain on each device.

Free channels built in

Tubi, The Roku Channel and Pluto TV need no subscription. Add them to fill a guide on day one.

Questions

Frequently asked

Can I use OurTV in a web browser?

Not for watching. Streaming services play protected video in their own players, and a website can't open those players at a given minute. The Windows and Android apps can, which is what makes the guide feel live.

Do I need to give OurTV my streaming passwords?

No. You sign in to each service yourself on your own device, the same way you would in a browser or the service's app. OurTV never uploads your logins, cookies or browser profile.

Does it include any shows or movies?

No. OurTV schedules titles from the services you already subscribe to. What you can watch depends on your plans. Tubi, The Roku Channel and Pluto TV are free.

What happens when a service can't skip ahead?

The program opens from the beginning and OurTV shows the time to skip to. You can also pause automatic skipping for a service.

Do I need a Chrome extension?

No. There's nothing to install besides the app, and no browser settings to change.

Can I move my channels to a new device?

Yes. Sign in to an OurTV account to sync them, or use Back up everything in Settings to save a file and import it on the other device.
